Hello you curious person, The Wanda d'Parke story begins in Sydney where she was born. This was to be of great significance in the future of Wanda's life and career. At the age of three, Wanda and her family (mother, father,and five older brothers) moved to a country town in Queensland. Her childhood was spent doing the "acceptable" things one does in the country, like sport, helping choose mother's dresses when shopping, and playing dressup with the neighbourhood girls. Wanda moved to Brisbane in 1982 and thus began her rise to gay icon status. | ||||||||||||||||

A chance opportunity to perform in Sydney at the Albury Hotel ignited a flame for Drag that has been fanned to an Inferno. Her Drag career has gone from strength to strength in Brisbane, having performed at most of the venues on a regular basis. Wanda is also co-founder of the extremely successful comedy Drag group "Total Kaos", plus the all live singing group... "3 Drags & a Piano". | |||||||||||||||||
